Tales from Limbo Beatboards
The Animatic trailer for “Tales from Limbo” follows the backstory of Gold, a Gallusengi (Hell Demon) born to be another disposable General in Satan’s Army. Cold and fanatic Overseers raise her, but when the time comes for her to prove herself, she fails the cruel execution of one of her comrades and is exiled to Purgatory to die. Instead, she finds a Ha’sidu (Purgatory Demon) settlement and comes upon a little cactus creature in distress, whom she dubs a ‘Devil’, and saves it, becoming enemy number 1. The two flee the hostile village together, and ‘Devil’ takes her to its village hidden in the cliffs. Gold becomes an honorary part of its tribe — Ironically becoming a General anyway. With her new family, she takes vengeance on the Overseer that cast her out, reclaims her Crown, and decides not just to survive in her new world, but to reclaim it for the True Children of Purgatory. Her story continues in my novel series, “Purgatory.”
